SOLD: FS: Vitus RCD 100 DAC/CD Player

Recommended Posts

Item: Vitus RCD 100 DAC/CD Player
Location: Perth
Price: SOLD
Item Condition: Excellent Unmarked
Reason for selling:
System reconfiguration = recent opportunity to purchase Mcintosh toob Amplifier & Mcintosh Streamer/Pre Amp (Boxing Day Sales) which means this one has to go to

retrieve funds.
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info: Recently purchased from fellow SNA member @jocknoz

I have mainly used this as a SPIDF Dac for my Thumb Drive player and occasionally to spin a CD. This is not an SACD Player.

Does not come supplied with a USB driver, owners manual or original power cord. Items were not supplied when I purchased. I will provide a standard fare power cord.

I did contact Vitus about obtaining a USB Driver for those requiring one, this was their response:

No drivers needed for Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel
No drivers needed for MAC OS version 10.6.4 and above
ASIO/KS/WASAPI/Direct Sound drivers are necessary for Windows XP to 8  (32 and 64 bit). Licensed USB Audio 2.0 Stereo Driver for Windows can be downloaded from http://jlsounds.com/uploads/XMOS-Stereo-USB-Audio-Class2-Driver-2023(v3.34.0).rar

The first photo is of my setup, the other 3 better photo's were from @jocknoz add, I am sure he won't mind me using them

Unrelated, but I'm curious: How do you have a white Apple TV? Is that a special edition or skin?

GLWS!

Not sure what you mean, I have never owned an apple product @dbau, last 3 photos are from previous owner.

      Item: Ayon S10 mk2 DAC/Stremaer
      Location: Sydney Northwest
      Price: $7600   RRP $11500
      Item Condition: 6 months old
Reason for selling: Upgrading to Signature
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info: A world class DAC and streamer. Suprisingly works seamlessly with all remote controls including IPhone IPad and android. It basically behaves like and old good CD player in terms of remote functions, plus more. Very fast navigation through the interface makes a joy to use it 🙂 It has 2x 6H30 output tubes and audiophile caps. I wish I have bought the signature version at the first place, if I had money.

      Extra Info:
Used this as a Pre / DAC (as it has a volume control) that I connected directly to my Power Amp.
Very versatile with 3 x digital inputs as well as an analogue. Very nice sound, see reviews online.
Purchased from Mike Lenehan, this was the upgraded plus edition that Mike used in his system for a while.

I had it serviced recently by Kimil Elelectronics in Sydney so its been checked and is ready to go.
Selling for what it cost me to get it serviced so a good deal for someone wanting a nice DAC / Headphone amp.
