Farpun
Hi, I've just been reading about the importance of the output impedance of headphone amplifiers and it got me thinking. If I have for example a smartphone with an output impedance of 4ohms and I connect it to a headphone amplifier with an output impedance of 0.7ohms what would the output impedance be?Would it negate the 4ohms and stick to the amps 0.7? Any information would be great, Thanks regards from Farpun

The output impedance on the smartphone at 4.0 ohms is not considered as this will be connected to the input of your headphone amplifier.
