New chipsets are changing designs  ; the Muse has had its decoding capability increased to match the capabilities of others like the coming monoprice HTP1 :)

It does this via a db9 breakout cable feeding 4 extra xlr balanced channels [ clever use of limited back panel real estate ]

Apparently your installer runs the Aspect auto eq [ the full kit is $ 2,459 MSRP to buy  ] or you can use REW and do it manually..

Just discovered this brand thanks to a recommendation from @VAF.

Anyone have any first hand experience as yet?

The ACT-4 has had very positive reviews from users with only the current lack of a high quality Room EQ holding it back somewhat compared to similarly priced units.  No current reports (that I am aware of) on how well the Aspect EQ works.  This pedigree likely bodes well for the Muse.

From a press release just received:

Quote

The long-awaited ASPEQT system is shipping in Q1. With ASPEQT, our dealers and integration partners can confidently tune an Acurus system to work optimally in its environment in less time and without the need for the level of training necessary for competitive systems. We are in the final stages of Tuning and Testing and are looking forward to delivering this first 2020 new product launch.

Looking forward to getting my hands on a Muse shortly.
