Had them now for 2 weeks. unfortunately the stock market has crippled me as an investor this last fortnight. Plus baby due in 2 weeks!! i need to liquidate my system. these are floor stock i paid cash 9700$$ 2 weeks ago. comes with everything , plus boxes etc.. floor stock is cheaper obviously, usually can have a nic or a dent. I cannot see anything wrong. if you want to save maximum money, buy whole system in one. I loved mine, they were a good match with the Parasound JC1's and can handle some serious oomph, unlike a lot of speakers around at the moment. A very clean sound from bass to highs. Same berrylium tweeter too re the colour question, they look like “basalt” which is a black with grey fleck finish. Very classy and easier to keep clean then traditional piano black.
