Extra Info:

Rare Opportunity to get one of these little gems at a reasonable price.
The Forte Model 1 is a Nelson Pass Design. Forte was a part of Threshold in those days.
It's a pure Class A Amp with 50W at 8 Ohm and 100W at 4 Ohm. Build and Sound Quality is just like what you can expect from a Pass design, it drives difficult loudspeakers with ease and the mids and highs are comparably warm, smooth and has a vivid organic touch to the sound stage. Its conservative 50W may not address large rooms and loud listening sessions appropriately but in the mid-size room and with suitable speakers, the Forte is musical heaven for the budget audiophile

Amp is in good optical condition and works flawless. It has some superficial marks on the front .
Note: This amp is a 110v version. A step down transformer will be provided.

Had one of these, great  amp, 8 output transistors per channel (opposite color pairing is out of site below) so don't worry one channel has different colored transitors.

Lovely sound designed for the working man watching his pennies that couldn't afford the glitzier looking $$$$$ Threshold's with all their milled chassis and blinking lights.

Very good amp for someone

Yes, these are the SS Class A amps I like. Basic and work.
