EV Cali
Hi All I own a Rotel RP850 Turntable that causes a pop through the speakers when turned off and on. There is a capacitor on the on / off switch but some of the writing is missing and I am unable to identify it. Thanks in advance Pictured below
Guest iant
According to the service manual at Vinyl Engine this is a 0.047uf "noise canceller" or spark quench capacitor. An X2/Y2 rated equivalent currently available is the Panasonic ECQU2A473ML available at RS Components etc.
