Item: MicroRendu + Geisler Linear PS + Curious USB cable
Location: Perth
Price: $850
Item Condition: Excellent
Reason for selling: NLR
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info:

Selling my Sonore MicroRendu streamer with an Australian made Geisler linear power supply and Curious USB cable (0.8m). The unit is in perfect condition and was purchased in Jan 2017 from Vortebox Australia for $786 + $250 for the Geisler LPS. The Curious Cable retails for $374. Only selling this package as I have upgraded to a PS Audio Direct Stream player. Total cost to me in 2017 was $1400, selling as a package for $850

The MicroRendu has been upgraded to the latest 2.6 Sonicorbiter OS. Nothing else needs to be said about this little box of audio wonders, very highly regarded and plenty of reviews on the net. The only blemish is some of the stick on rubber feet are missing, purely cosmetic and can be replaced easily.

I would prefer to sell as a bundle but will split the items if necessary.

Individual sale prices:

MicroRendu: $500

Geisler audio and power products have an outstanding reputation and this LPS is custom made for the MicroRendu and much better than the usual iFi iPower 9VDC that most people pair with the MR. Sale price: $150

Curious USB cables are again very highly regarded and this cable helps tweak the absolute best out of the MR.  The only slight blemish on the cable is that on one end the covering material is frayed so has been taped over, again purely cosmetic. Sale price: $200

This is a great entry package to the world of high end audio streaming at a very reasonable price. Plug into your network and your USB DAC & off you go. I would prefer to sell all three items as a package, but will consider splitting into separate sales if necessary. Package price includes postage to anywhere in Australia, split items will have postage done individually.

Item: Sonore ultraRendu (Brand New Unopened) SALE PENDING
      Location: Glen Waverley, Australia
Price: $999 (costs just under $1200 from the US not including shipping, import duty and GST - approx. $200). Add $15 for Express Post shipping Australia wide.
      Item Condition: Brand New Unopened
Reason for selling: Impulse buy. Selling at a loss to recoup money for Home Theatre.
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
      Extra Info:
The ultraRendu does not come with any AC adapter as it expects you to have a high quality LPS or at least an iFi iPower 9v 2A.
I have also an iFi iPower 9v 2A ($79) also brand new and unopened which I can add for an additional $50.
ultraRendus only come for sale very rarely so feel free to take advantage of this chance while you can.
I know because I waited for ages only to buy one brand new when I got tired of waiting.
It is a noticeable step up from the already excellent microRendu which itself was a step up from the SqueezeBox Touch.

Offering two brand new items at a significant discount to retail price. In the case of the ultraRendu, it rarely comes up for sale second hand and usually still costs about this much or so.

      Pictures: Pictures coming soon.

Item:                    Sonore DLNA Music Server- Plays your Flac, Wav and all digital files
      Location:             Melbourne
      Price:                   $500
      Item Condition:      Used
Reason for selling:     Streaming music now
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only

      Music server

The digital output from this server sounds amazing and it plays most file formats, flac, wav etc..

This is based on the audio server that Sonore / Green Computer used to sell before the rendu series of products took off and is similar to Vortexboxes sold here in Australia in so much that it uses the same software platform.

This was custom built for me by Jesus Rodriguez (the main tech guy and founder of Sonore).  He helped select the design options and built the server for me. I chose not to include a ripper so the server is dedicated to music playback – just load your files and play…!!

The server has not had much use as I have been streaming all my music with Tidal and before that it was installed in a second system that only had occasional use.

It has an intel processor running Linux (massively heat-sinked so no fan is needed) and the server is pretty much silent in operation) and has a high quality external power supply.

The Operating System is on a solid state disk and I had the server configured with 4TB of western digital disk (my music is still loaded). You can attach a hard disk via USB for back-up purposes as well

The output interface is a specialised studio quality output card that was used in Sonore severs at the time.

The unit is provided with a custom Cardas cable (originally over $300 usd) that was made specifically for these units and provides an XLR - AES / EBU connection to your DAC.

You can use your favourite app or the web interface to the server to view, play and manage your music collection.  Any number of renderers can serve up your music and the server has software such as Vortex box and squeezebox, alreadyloaded etc..  I used squeezebox which works really well.

Happy to demo the unit but its pretty straight forward to use for those familiar with servers / and their associated software renderers such as squeezebox, MPAD, etc.

      Item: Sonore microRendu
      Location: Grafton NSW
Price: $400 (bargain I paid $600 used a few months ago)
Item Condition: Used, but very good
Reason for selling: Replaced with something 3x the price
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
      Extra Info:
Lots of info on the web. It is an excellent product.
This is the original version I bought off an SNA member. In other words it has the V1.3 board. Colour is silver.
Unfortunately I do not have the original packaging material.

Pictures: Looks like all the other ones on the net. I can provide photos if required.

Item: Sonore microRendu streamer - Silver (firmware 2.5)
      Location: Forestville NSW
Price: $400 plus postage (likely $10)
      Item Condition: used
      Reason for selling: simplified systems
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal
Extra Info: I've owned this since new. I've upgraded the SonicOrbiter firmware to 2.5 from 2.1.
Note that this doesn't come with a power supply - you can choose how much or how little you want to spend on this option. From the website... http://www.sonore.us/microRendu.html
iFi iPower power supply - 9VDC CIAudio linear power supply - 7VDC Teddy Pardo linear power supply - 7VDC HD-Plex Linear power supply - adjust to 7VDC Uptone Audio UltraCap LPS-1 power supply - set to 7VDC Uptone Audio JS-2 linear power supply - set to 7VDC Vinnie Rossi LIO with microRendu output stage Sbooster - 9VDC Sonore Signature Series linear power supply - 7VDC
I would recommend iFi iPower for a good and reasonable price option. For a great Linear Power Supply (LPS) at a good value price, I recommend Clay Gieseler's power supplies - see SNA forum https://www.stereo.net.au/forums/forum/143-gieseler-audio/

USB hard adaptor is supplied, and I can supply an ethernet cable if you need one. Also would recommend Curious USB cables.
