I bought this to do some experimenting with cables into my power amp' and I'm happy to move it on now.

Officially it can be used as either 4 inputs and one out, or perhaps one input and a choice of 4 out. However, I have also found that you can sneakily push 2 adjacent buttons down to get 1 in 2 out if you want (for bi-amping?).

Was purchased as NOS from a Melbourne HiFi dealer by the original purchaser and has been used lightly by myself several times since I got it. Very transparent in operation.
