aechmea Posted October 9, 2018 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Probably depends upon how well the device manages its power. The coax/toslink devices seem to use either USB power or an AC adapter. Some people go to great lengths to provide less noisy power through better/more expensive/alternate power supplies. I used to use an 8-in 2-out converter/switch, but it was a bit more expensive than the Chinese ones, whether that means anything. Personally, I am like Navi; not convinced that it makes much difference. Maybe I have been lucky. There will be plenty of people that say that it does.
