As good as it gets. Magnificent amplifiers, that are just so much more usable than 8 Watts. These may well be THE amplifiers to end your search.

They will work with most speakers but will change your life with the right partner. Fantastic with AudioNote, Klipsch, horns in general, Zu, etc. Beautiful tone and vocals to die for.

If I had 5k these would be sold already. They never, ever, come up for sale. I looked for six years, not a single second hand pair of PSE Silver Nights in Australia and they have been in production for 25 years.

Hi Mitchlim.

Early Silver Night Monoblocks always used 6922/6dj8s as input and driver valves or 6922 and 5687s, more common in the push pull version.

The later models come equipped with valves marked as cvx100 and cvx120.  Audion seems to brand these themselves and appear a little reticent in disclosing their true identity. It would appear that the cvx100 is an ec86 , Russian equivalent 6S3p. Best I can find is the cvx120 is in fact an E280F.

thank you so mch Ooogh .. badly I prefer 6922 as i have plenty

"We use JJ 300B and Russian New old stock 6H23N as a driver and input tubes."

Zooming in on the photos they do look a lot like 6n23p tubes which means 6922 would be possible.

Maybe @khoihuyen can confirm.
