Well I'm still running 1.3b cables and getting 4K discs to work fine with 4K enhancement, 4K E-shift and native 4K, all working fine.

The HDMI cables are:

 

Standard (Cat 1)

High Speed (Cat 2)

Premium  (Cat 2 cable certified to work at 18Gbps)

Ultra (Cat 3)

 

You need a High Speed (Cat 2) cable for 4K .... and if you are going to use more than one of high bitrate, high frame rate, or HDR .... then you'll typically need a premium certified one (or equivalent).

if it was the new 9400 that coming a bit later i would be very interested. but being a gamer this model isn't suitable unfortunately.
