Well I'm still running 1.3b cables and getting 4K discs to work fine with 4K enhancement, 4K E-shift and native 4K, all working fine.

PM on it's way.

The HDMI cables are:

Standard (Cat 1)

High Speed (Cat 2)

Premium  (Cat 2 cable certified to work at 18Gbps)

Ultra (Cat 3)

You need a High Speed (Cat 2) cable for 4K .... and if you are going to use more than one of high bitrate, high frame rate, or HDR .... then you'll typically need a premium certified one (or equivalent).

      Price: 85 neg +post
Item Condition: Good - see description
Reason for selling: No Longer used
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
      Extra Info:
Sony MZR55 Mini disc walkman/recorder. I used this for recording rehearsals and gigs for awhile back in the 90's. It was reputed to be the best model they made and is solidly built .That great no nonsense MD sound , perfect for live recording in tricky acoustics and works great with one of the Sony stereo ECM mics that were often paired with the recorder /walkmans. Only issue is that the original charger is kaput - but the machine runs perfectly on the battery pack. It also has a new lithium battery installed in case you find a replacement charger for it. 85 dollars includes the player/recorder , 8 discs and the headphone remote cable  - and a donation to SNA.

Item: Naim NAC 72 Preamp, Ryan Sound Lab boards
      Location: Sydney
Price: NAC 72 $780, Ryan Sound Labs Boards $500 or $1100 for both
      Item Condition: Excellent
Reason for selling: No longer required
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, bank transfer
      Extra Info: See below
      Pictures: See below

For sale is my Naim NAC 72 preamp and Ryan Sound Labs (RSL)  replacement boards. The 72 currently has the RSL boards installed, but I also have the original boards and can sell the preamp with either or both. The RSL boards are replacements for  the orignal Naim internal boards for the linestage and the phono stage and provide a very significant upgrade. I bought the preamp a few years ago for a Naim project which was never completed, so it has been sitting unused for quite some time.

See here for further information on the RSL boards:  http://ryansoundlab.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1. There is also quite a bit of information on the RSL boards on the Pink Fish forum. The boards are very easy to install or remove - they can just be plugged in or unplugged, with no soldering required.

I would prefer to sell the 72 preamp with the RSL boards installed (and will also provide the original boards), but am happy to sell them separately if there is interest.

Pick up is available, or I am happy to post.

Stock photos below - actual photos to follow if there is interest.
