Great to return home after a month overseas and to attend this!
What a lucky country we have... SA is a wonderful place...
The food, wine, music and the friendly SNA members.
What more to does one need.

Thanks to the SNA crew for coming along. Glad to meet some of the new members and get a chance to socialise. I think Peter got the Duntech's up to some serious SPL and the VU meters on the Krell's swinging almost up to 50w.

Thanks so much for a ripper arvo, even if I did have to cut it short. The wines were lovely (4 bottles magically appeared in my car......) and the "office rig" amazing, though the analogue was somewhat outclassed by the digital. That massaman curry was incredible!!!

Terrible lighting on that group shot, sadly, bit that's the only one I got.20181020_130048.jpg20181020_130626.jpg20181020_201512.jpg20181020_132617.jpg20181020_132413.jpg

Thanks Duane. I was so busy eating delicious food and sipping very unique wines, I barely got a chance to catch up with some of the other SNA'ers. I'm glad it's one of the good guys that gets to combine his work, Hifi and life's great pleasures into one beautiful setting. I'm thinking I might be able to get those needles moving a bit more on those amps with my older Dunnies.

@DRC thanks for the great day, and for educating my non wine drinking self on them with me ultimately walking out with a bottle of wine myself much to my wife's surprise. And chance you could list what ones we tasted yesterday as I forgot to write it down.

Hi Howze

I think the list was -

The Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2015

The Nebbiolo 2016

The Mourvedre 2015

The Syrah 2014

The Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Shin Zen Bi Syrah 2012

La Petite Cuvee NV (Sparkling Red)

And the Izway Aglianico 2017 that Suresh kindly bought along.
