Hi guys, I've had these great sounding speakers for a few years and bought them new from lifestyle audio Sydney(fronts) and miranda Hi-fi Canberra(centre) . The Studio had an RRP of AUD1900 and and the centre had a tag of AUD1499. I've thoroughly enjoyed the speakers and have taken great care of them. Always driven with quality amplification, these includes Consonance Cyber 800 Tube Monoblocks, Emotiva XPA-3 and Pioneer Class D receiver. Always crossed at 100Hz for movies and generally listening and never abused. The Studio 20s are very transparent sounding speakers with very nice low end (for bookshelf)partially due to it's 7 inch drivers . The Studio cc490 is a proper 3-way centre and swapping out to this (from a cheaper Paradigm) was a day and night experience. Crystal clear sound, excellent mid-bass with wide dispersion. They're both in Cherry veneer finish which is stunning to look at. They were also dearer than the black ash iirc and I had to wait for a little while for the stock in Cherry back then. My initial plan was to use these in a second setup but the reality is it'll be wasted and I need the funds for a new HT. I've got the original boxes and happy to ship them. For local pick-up, I'm happy to include the excellent Sound Organization Z1 (similar to soundstyle Z1) which is filled and damped with sand. Paid AUD400 for these. There seems to be a few people looking for the studio centre, or the 20s but seldom both. If not, I may be able to stretch the budget that far. (If I can sell the centre afterwards) Could I possibly inspect the speakers at a time convenient to you? I live in Amaroo, so it's not exactly far... possibly sometime from Sunday onwards?
