Demo doesn't really translate well. Still, I'm about to make sure they have my 40% discount card recorded and ready to go.

So what do we reckon $8500-$9500 au?

Ship it in yourself and hope you have no warranty issues?

Were playing the same dolby amaze clip at the demo I downloaded awhile ago B)

Really need some info on the 40% if you buy a few cards at the same time . Not to mention what the switching ; bass management capabilities of the base model are :)

The RMC2 looks like the value piece if its still dual differential and fingers x'ed maybe less chance of warranty issues..

Not too sure what the current situation with the Aust distribution. Certainly with a 40% card you'll need to ship it in.

If there's still a local distributor then I reckon about $9k sounds about right.

If they're allowing to buy direct, I doubt they'll have Australian dealers for long.

That's an expensive and complicated piece of gear, if you needed any warranty work you'd have to freight it back to the US and return at your cost.

In that case it would be best to wait and see if they have ironed the bugs out before placing an order.

It appears half cut off on my screen as well (almost like a permanent footer).

their shopping cart allows you to ship to OZ, and also select various currencies but it's a basic currency conversion

a quick  dummy order of a XPA7 Gen 3 @ US$1999 ends up costing approx $AUD$3680 (after adding $1999 amp +  $313 shipping/handling + $300 import duties, all @ conversion of 0.71 - as per their website.)

Whereas Lifestyle Store Australia lists it with a RRP of $AUD3599....
