Mozilla Firefox: Returns to the top of the page after going "back".

As per the title it's been doing this for some time. Does anyone else notice this? I'm running the latest version and have tried clearing my History and my Cookies and Site Data.

As a rule, you should not use the Back button on dynamic sites like StereoNET (as opposed to static HTML websites).

Use the breadcrumb and navigation menus to get where you want to go.

In other words ... don't use the Back button.

Especially for things like Paypal/Net Banking/ etc etc.

At the risk of appearing to be intellectually challenged, how does one get back to the point in the unread list, after going to a thread of interest, from the unread list, when using firefox, without using the back button?  Using the back button used to work, but as noted now, does not any more( i.e. it goes to the top of the list, as noted above).

Where does one find these cake crumbs (other than under the couch cushions)

I noticed that about a month, or a little more ago. It's a real pain in the plums. Now I right click the thread, and open in a new tab, leaving the "Unread Content" page where it is.
