He turned me onto Herry Rollins and Ministry in my youth.   Good times, good times.

Be well Mr Ghost.

Too true. I'll never forget the time driving home from work one night and hearing Rammstein for the first time on 3RRR. SC was doing a feature of the band so it was back to back for 3-4 tracks and i was so blown away I had to pull the car over to the side of the street and listen....insensly!

once visited the Ghost's home when he lived in the Dandenongs back in the mists of time, circa early 80's,

the entire under house storage was filled up to the floorboards with back issues of NME (New Musical Express)!

A well read rock fan certainly!

+1 for the Ghost, played a large part in my musical appreciation over those 2 decades. IMHO deserves the 2018 CBAA award for outstanding volunteer contribution.

Agreed.

You'll be pleased to know his contribution was recognised by The Age Music Victoria Awards back in 2011.

That was one amazing night.

Good to hear and thanks for the list. Glad to see Stan the Man also included, another radio luminary that brings back great listening memories.
