Jake123
This is what the kefs look like. So should have enough speak to create heeps of bass. I don't think a sub would be the answer.
krebetman
Sorry for the dumb question, but what resistive loading to you have your phono stage set to?

Zaphod Beeblebrox
To follow-up on what Dave has suggested, I will offer a couple more: * Double, DOUBLE check your speaker wiring. Ensure that positive to positive and negative to negative conventions are followed, CAREFULLY. * Try a digital source, with a known bass performance. Jake123
I did this because from my reading of the CJ lit, it suggests that you swop them around because of the phase inversion

Find a good DIGITAL recording of a single vocalist. Sit in the centre of the two speakers and listen. Close your eyes. The voice should appear from a single point, roughly in the centre. If the sound is diffuse and the voice appears to come from a wide area, then your speakers are wired incorrectly.
