Took me a day to finish the back panel. And few scuffs on my fingers!!

vintagejapan
Some fun measurements. Not sure how accurate this meter is but the B-1 is drawing around 200~300watt depending how loud you play it.

After checking adjustments on driver boards performed a initial power with the Vfets installed. “Clang” the relay clicks with confidence few seconds after power up. Few more adjustments and the B-1 comes to life again. Can’t wait to connect some speakers and hear it, but will let it burn in for few hours. Wow this is awesome. To be able to bring back to life such an iconic and unique piece of HiFi history is simply amazing. Hats off to you Sir and thanks for sharing your progress with us.

Rockford
How do you charge for jobs like this? Obviously the amount of work you put in and sourcing parts etc, must go over the value of the item? You must have spent weeks and weeks of man hours on the amp. It has been a fantastic journey watching all the various components cleaned up/repaired/replaced and brought back to life.
