What does your player/receiver tell you?

I am using a Marantz UD5005 has very minimal display options but it displays it is 2 channel, so remains a bit of a mystery as

to what audio option x is, but I am enjoying it.

LOL.........

Option "X" is NOT an audio option.

It's for eXiting/closing the Audio Option Sub Menu!!!!

The two audio choices are as shown in the pic......PCM STEREO 24/96 and 5.1 DTS HDMA 24/96......that's it!!!!

If you don't believe me hit the "audio" button on your BD player.

.... guffaw

I didn't even consider this, given the difference in sound described.

Demonstrates the deceptive powers of placebo effect and expectation bias doesn't it!!!!

Goodaye all

l tend to leave music video's in stereo, as they were ment to be.

Option 1 is the Sony Surround sound

Option 2 my preferred the Sansui AU505

Jeff Lyns Wembley or bust is done for stereo

Although some movie soundtracks are better in surround.

regards Bruce
