STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Once all sold (or near to), a donation to SNA of 5% of the total sold will follow. All titles here get brand new inner and outer sleeves before shipping. I try and ship 5 days a week.
THE SMALL PRINT:
I fully guarantee everything I offer - if you don't like any item for whatever reason, return it at my expense, no questions asked (verified 30 day+ active Forum members only thanks).. Original contents are stored inside the cover. I try to ship all records outside the cover and inner paper sleeves, so any postal damage is minimised. I use new pre-made cardboard mailers for smaller orders, and these virtually guarantee safe arrival of your record (they are also MUCH faster to pack). Combined postage to anywhere in Australia at cost (or close enough).
ABSOLUTELY NO LOCAL PICKUPS - don't ask - it's not going to happen.
I just don't have the time, sorry. I'm barely at home as it is though, and have no wish to be here waiting around for hours at a time.
Lastly - I'm not a shop. I don't have credit card facilities and I don't do this full time (though sometimes it feels like I might!). It's a hobby I love, where I try to make damn sure that *everyone* wins. Complain to me loudly if anything goes wrong (although it barely ever does) - and I'll fix it.
Post in this thread to reserve your item(s).
NB: CONSERVATIVE GRADING… cover first / record grade 2nd
I have this week taken a drop of a private LP collection from Europe.
The owner was fastidious, and under-graded everything he sold me (now THERE'S a real rarity!). This was from a collection he had at home of over 5000 titles, with almost 2000 of those being on vinyl, all professionally stored. I have slowly picked my way through all 5000 that he chose to drip-feed me 100 at a time, every few days, to choose just a few records and SNA members are the very first humans to lay eyes on 'em, besides me wife and me dog.
Simply stated: I don't expect to find a group like this again for *quite* some time.
First in, best dressed.
Please form an orderly queue.
Queen - The Game - US 1980 original, pressed at EUROPADISK (5E-513) VG/VG+. The cover (non-reflective) has some ringwear to the front and back, but not too bad and otherwise a very solid cover. Comes with a nice lyric OIS. The record plays perfectly with no noise and looks great too. $28
Enya - Shepherd Moons - German pressed for UK/Europe (WX 431). NM/NM. Ridiculously hard to find the original pressing in the wild, in any condition.
This one is like new and lovely to behold. $45
Simple Minds - Stand By Love - English pressed 12" single (VST1358) VG+/NM. Limited gatefold 12", individually numbered (#01245) with colour booklet. Lovely set if you're a fan. Only light storage rubbing to front top and back, else terrific. Plays without noise. $16
Simple Minds - Sweat In Bullet - UK pressing 12" original (VS451.12) VG/NM. Cover has some rubbing wear alog the top, spine and bottom front. A little less on the back.'JONZ at Sound Clinic' mastering. Wax plays really nicely - lightest hairlines in strong overhead light. $14
Duran Duran - Rio - USA reissue, remaster with David Kershenbaum remixes (ST-12211). VG/VG+. Some marking to the cover, corner bumps, small spine abrasion, original price sticker on top right cover. Colour OIS included. The wax has some light hairlines but plays really well. Good copy overall. $28
Def Leppard - Pyromania - US pressing (810308-1). VG/VG+. Classic hair metal title from 1983, with MASTERDISK Howie Weinberg mastering both sides. Worn/torn spine and some ringwear to front. Original price sticker to top right. Back is very nice. This title never came with a lyric inner. Wax has some very light hairlines only, and plays beautifully throughout. $18
Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule - Italian original pressing (VUSLP 10) VG++/VG+. Cover is really beautiful and a hint off NM. Lovely OIS. The wax shows some light hairlines in very strong overhead light, but the record plays beautifully with little to no noise. Kravitz titles have never been repressed, and remain rare, and very desirable from any territory. $55
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses - Original German 1st 1989 pressing for Europe (ZL74139) NM/NM. Almost perfect condition. No wear on the sleeve, exellent OIS and the wax plays without a sound (except that which it is meant to). So very hard to find here, in any condition. $90
Van Halen - OU812 - German pressed for Europe original (WX-177) VG++/VG++. Cover is near faultless, OIS great, and wax has only light hairlines in strong overhead light. Plays beautifully. $25
Van Halen - 5150 - USA original pressing (25394-1) VG/VG++. The cover is good, but for a large cutout mark top right front. Some wrinkles and bends along the opening. Nice OIS with the cutout mark of course. The wax is really great and plays like a dream, with great power. Noice! $28
R.E.M. - Eponymous - UK original pressing (MIRG 1038) VG++/VG++. Cover is near-perfect except minor wear along the opening. OIS included. The record is really beautiful and plays perfectly. $40
R.E.M. - Document - Dutch pressing for Europe (ILP 460105 1) NM/VG++. Cover is beautiful and without any wear. Excellent OIS and full size IRS 'Hitmen' promo flyer. The wax shows some light wispy hairlines under strong light, else plays perfectly throughout. $40
