davothecavo
Hi, I am thinking about building a John Broskie Aikido phono stage as my next DIY Audio project. I was wondering if anybody has an opinion on these kits? Cheers, David
Guest Hensa
I'm sure @catman might be able to assist as well as advise on other options.
A9X
I've not built one myself, but have a lot of experience with tube design and construction. John is a great and innovative engineer and the concept is very good. I've been reading his blog since 99 and have applied a number of his ideas into other projects and have not been disappointed with the results. From what I've read from other builders (of the Aikido designs), the response is overwhelmingly positive. If it fit into my project needs, I'd grab a kit myself for the fun of it. I think you'd have to look hard to find a better tube design in kit form, and not look too hard to find a worse one, either kit or complete. Jump in with both feet.
