Extra Info: A brilliant sounding speaker ,these don t  pop up for sale often

I have their big brother, with the same mid/tweeter setup. Absolutely brilliant speakers and some said that these were more user friendly than the 2.8s huge bass output. A great buy, and extremely easy to drive!

A quick note on the build quality. These were entirely built in-house in Canada including all drivers. I know the 2.8 uses 25mm material for its cabinet and has a 50mm front baffle. It would be a safe assumption that the 1.8 is at least very similar.
