SOLD

Item:  SCANSPEAK  Illuminator DIY large bookshelf speakers.
Location: Keysborough VIC 3173
Price: $1500. No postage on these, I'm sorry.
Item Condition: Excellent
Reason for selling: Too many speakers
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info:

Constructed these a little while ago. Have to say, probably my best sounding DIY speakers I've built to date.

Cannot fault this sound. Incredible value for money.

The design is Troels Gravensen Illuminator monitor in a 30 litre box for extra bass.

The best bass you will ever hear from 7" driver. The speed of these is astonishing, and voicing is superb.

Cabinets are painted 25mm MDF braced, and 50mm thick front sculptured baffles.

All drivers are brand new, still have the packaging boxes. These have about 30 hours on them.

Just the woofers were almost $800...

Come with heavy sand fillable stands pictured. Perfect height.

Cabinet paintjob is not perfect but very acceptable.

No grille design. Sizes: 270W x 460H x 425D. Stands add 550 without spikes, so 1010 H on stands.

I love my hobby....

Top coats are Berger Satin Jet Dry with 3 coats of Solver sandable primer under.

All applied with roller, so there is some texturing present.

Bargain at $1500, even without the stands. bet nothing commercial comes close to them even for double that.

If I needed them and you were in Sydney, I'd be on your doorstep with folded green.

GLWTS

Cheers George
