This is a fully USB 5V bus powered DAC (there's no input for external DC power in). - The only input is USB. The outputs are RCA and Headphone Amp output. It also has a SPDIF digital coax RCA output so can act as a USB to Digital Coax converter up to PCM192kHz and DSD64 via DoP (see photos and manual and website above). - Comes with USB cable and RCA cable. Hi Mae, yes it's only been used in a permanent HiFi setup - it's never been used portably, even though it can obviously since it runs off USB 2.0 power. Dad had a Sonore microRendu feeding it and powering it the entire time (up-sampling to DSD256).
