ATI ATP16 Pre Processor

Following another hi end acquisition -  ATI acquiring Datasat comes another interesting engineering collaboration ; with yet another 16ch pre pro [ griffin light adi chipset a good bet ] . Also with the ever popular dirac live .. Hopefully the Datasat link will see it released here

looks a good thing cwt, of all the processors coming forth first one looks good in taking capabilities forward....though under $10k ? gee and that is likely to blow well past that by time lands locally ... if does. nad you'd hope want hdmi 2.1 with something like this at the price am thinking.

Expected price is in the vicinity of $6K - $10K USD and it should land in September this year.

Yes Al ; the price will be interesting ;ATI in the states have had a good value for money trend for their power amps ; it wont have the fancy bass management and flexibility of the rs20i you pay for so I hope its closer to Marks lower estimate for folks . After our distributors get hold of it ;as you say ..

They've ditched the unbalanced outs like Emo and made the dirac standalone by the looks ; from a dealer -
