betocool
Just my humble opinion as an expat. Cold Chisel? Not even close... Australia was (is?) known worldwide for two things and two things only: Crocodile Dundee and AC/DC. The rest is nice to have. His timing and the right touch when called for, especially his cymbal work, was just right for the songs and have not been bettered for decades. Just my opinion ( and its nothing to do with my avatar - l lost my other Beatles avatars )

stevoz
This is on the way (2009 Dutch pressing) Can't wait to hear the live version of Riff Raff (and others) on my system.....should be a blast!
stevoz
The above album arrived yesterday......and does sound excellent. The George Marino remaster series certainly does deliver and this improves on an already great live recording. Good pressing also. Recommended. stevoz
Well, I assume we're all aware of the rumours and photo's getting around of Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd having a smoke on the balcony at the same Vancouver studio where AC/DC have recorded their last three albums and then photo's of Angus and Stevie having a smoke on the same balcony and another of Rudd and Johnson with Mike Fraser, who mixed their last three albums......and what all this means......and that it has since been confirmed by Angus that there will be a new AC/DC album coming out!!! According to reports, Angus has a number of tapes of Malcolm playing a lot of riffs and unreleased stuff from the early 2000's that Angus will use/has used to come up with new songs and also use to have Malcolm actually contributing to the new album.....yes, Malcolm Young will be playing on the new AC/DC album! Pretty excited by these developments and it's fair to say this pending album will obviously be one of the most anticipated albums of the decade..............and thankfully, no Axel Rose!!! AC/DC.....common sense has prevailed and we salute you!
zenikoy
I hope it is intended to be a finale, using the last of Malcolm's riffs. I hope it's a blinder.
betocool
That's great news! Even though I'm not a massive AC/DC fan I like them enough that I got a kind of meh feeling the way it seems they ended after the Axl Rose swap. Sort of nice to know they still get along and work together. Cool! Cheers, Alberto

Let's hope it happens the way we want it and that the reported new album is a great one. Edited July 12, 2019 by stevoz
