Little_Joe
Not a full on cover but I love this Christine and the Queens song that is a mashup of Kanye West's Heartless and Christophe's song Les Paradis Perdus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPjazi4mQSQ Edit: Not sure how to embed a video Edited June 15, 2020 by YippeKiYay Not sure how to embed a video

sjay
This was the first live performance on Australian TV if i recall it correctly and they needed to play something that was OK for countdown, so they played this rocking cover. Easily one of my top 5 AC/DC songs, the studio version is even better and really shows you what a versatile rock band they are/were and will always be. Mutatis Mutandis
This Mortal Coil's version of Tim Buckley's Song to the Siren. Altogether different, but still makes the hairs stand on end.

Something a little more obscure: Eleanor Rigby as played by Dirt Poor Robins is getting a lot of playtime on my headphones at work right now. I like both but also rate: Hallelujah by John Cale - there's just something about it ...; and Eleanor Rigby by Zoot - a blast from the past. And who could argue with a You Tube appraisal. April Snow
Prince A Case Of U (Joni Mitchell Cover) It is an edited version he sings but Prince's vocals and his piano playing is sublime. Recorded in the Atrium at Paisley Park - just him, piano & mic.
