Rockford
I'm looking at the Optus deal on their website and I am still trying to work out what the catch is. The iPad is $800 (128Gb) and the spend on the 10Gb plan is $960 over 2 years. So you are getting the data plan for $160? Plus you get Optus Sport and EPL to stream for nix. What am I missing? (if it seems too good to be true, it usually is...school of thinking) http://www.optus.com.au/shop/tablet/devices/apple-ipad-9-7?keyword_k=optus%20ipad%20plans&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6vf9ts-L2AIVSAQqCh174g-AEAAYASAAEgIZ-fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CI3AkbrPi9gCFRKbvAod8fMCJw Sorry for the thread drift. That plan is over 24 months so it is $320 but still, the $40 plan with 10gb is a great deal..... Edited December 15, 2017 by scumbag
Rockford
Huh? $40 x 24Mths = $960 less $800 Ipad = $160 so $80 a year for the Data.

It's verging on white-anting. https://www.stereo.net.au/forums/announcement/9-responding-to-classifieds-listings/ On 12/15/2017 at 7:47 PM, Rockford said: What am I missing? The downside is you have to put up with the incompetence of OPTUS customer service. For me it was a no brainer as I've been paying $70(100GB) on month to month our home internet while I wait for NBN. The NBN rollout has just been delayed 18 months so committing to 24 months wasn't a big deal. With that I got a 25% discount off the monthly bill and the ipad bundled.
