audiohifiaudio
Can this work with a michell gyro se?
arthur63
Yes, the SME IV is a good match for the Michell Gyro SE. You will need an arm board to mount the SME IV, Michell stocks these. BTW, bargain price for an excellent tonearm. Edited December 1, 2017 by arthur63

You need an armboard like @arthur63 said. Something like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Michell-Orbe-Gyro-SME-arm-mounting-armboard-armplate-Black-Silver-or-Gold-/252047794723 Alternatively, you may be able to get a collet (adapter) that converts your armboard to fit an SME. As the gentleman above said, both being British, Michell+SME was a fairly common combination.
arthur63
The SME IV looks as though it was designed for the Gyro SE Here's a pic of mine.

Kensell21
I had the exact same combination.. they were great together.. unfortunately a SME10 came my way. I transferred the SME IV arm onto the 10.. just couldn’t keep the gyrodec.. Pity. Great price. I just need another arm.
