Hi from a periodically jaded hifi person

Hi everyone. After visiting the Melbourne hifi show I have been reassessing my system. Unexpectedly I came away more happy with what I already have, but I think its likely most of the rooms were way too small for the systems to sound as good as they should have. Or it could be my philistine ways, who knows. I'm considering a change up of my subwoofer - does anyone have a lot of experience with SVS subs? I have a SB12 plus from quite a few years ago.. I think one of their first models.. and was looking at a newer model with a bit more umph, though I could be chasing the dragon so would like a sanity check.

Anyway, I'm Rob and I love my Anthony Gallo Strada 2 'bookshelf' speakers.

post more re sub in the speaker forum.

assume your talking hifi not AV?

high end systems Ive heard with subS tend to use 2 subs and run them as part of an integrated mini dsp set up

It is a music oriented AV system - would be after a musical rather than an earth shattering sub setup.
