Date in Oz Format Pls

Recommended Posts

Got confused with this date e.g. when quoting a post:  10/07/2017

This refers to 7 Oct 2017, not 10 Jul 2017.  Can we please have dates in Oz format i.e. dd/mm/yyyy

I prefer yyyy-mm-dd as it sorts correctly (and easily) and is less prone to misunderstanding- something that happens more and more since audiences become more international.

I looked up (ubiquitous google search) and found that the yyyy-mm-did is a standard !  ISO 8601........... learn something everyday
