It is hand crafted from solid Japanese tone woods (cello wood) and is hand finished with a clear lacquer. I purchased this from the Australian importer to use underneath my preamp which I did with great effect for several years. I then upgraded my preamp to Absolare Signature four years ago which has a very deep chassis over 500mm.
