STAIN0
feel free to give this a go My lux to lumens calculator First page calculates your 16:9 image sq.ft. Just input either your 16:9 image "height", "width" or "diagonal" in mm (just one will do) and the yellow box will give you your image area in sq.ft. Most of you will know your screens diagonal in inches, so i have also put a simple inches to mm converter on that page if you need it. On the next three pages (change page by clicking the tabs in bottom left corner) you can calculate your image brightness (Ft Lamberts), Nits and your globes Peak Lumens. Simply enter your- "screen area" calculated from first page, "Lux" reading from your light meter Screen "gain" Thanks also to @IMDave for his input *Edit fixed a few bugs - 3-10-17 Edited October 2, 2017 by STAIN0 2

Wavetrain
16 foot lamberts or more is the golden rule. 23.5 foot lamberts and then you can add Bias lighting!
