SOLD: FS: Technics SP10 MKII and slate plinth

Recommended Posts

Item: Technics SP10 MKII and slate plinth

Location: Hobart Tasmania

Price: $1750  obo Price drop $1500

Item Condition: Used

Reason for selling: Thinning the herd

Payment Method: Cash, Paypal+3%, COD Only

Extra Info:

I've had the SP10 MKII for a few years now. It's been polished, I prefer it to the original brushed look that so often oxidises under the paint. I've also had it serviced by Jason Boyd of Perth as he is the local master of the SP10. this was roughly 3 years ago with only minimal use since.

It comes with PSU, rare remote control and custom slate plinth, with holes already cut for both a 9" and 12" arm. Happy to post as the plinth has a box specifically made for shipping as I have recently moved from Perth WA to Hobart. Let me know your post code and I'll get you a quote over the next few days.

Pictures:

Can't upload them for some reason. PM me if interested and I'll email them. In between, I'll take some with my phone.

Thanks Matt. It is a nice turntable. It won't be the only one to go though. In the new house, I'll only be able to have 3 max..... so I have 2 more turntables to sell after this one. A couple of Garrards are next.

Wow, really thinning them out then Linc

To those interested in this turntable it is really nice, not a mark/chip anywhere. Looks really quite a lot better than the photos depict, particularly the polished black slate.

To me a relative bargain in perfect serviced fully operational condition

sigh

This is more or less the same plinth I'm looking for my SP10. Interesting finish  and kind of handy not having to get up when the side finshes with the remote. Good luck!

And the great sell off starts.......:)

I can vouch for this bloke as can a lot of others here. A gentleman of SNA if there ever was one. And I'll echo @125dBmonster comments from earlier, this looks much better in the flesh than the pics show.

Hope you dont don't mind Linc. But I figure the more pics the merrier:

Thanks mate. Flattery will get you everywhere!
I'll try again to post some real photos tonight. Not sure what's going on. It keeps saying error 200. Odd.

Funny you mention the broadcast bit mate. I found out at the GTG that it was originally from the ABC studios in Perth WA.

Interesting how stuff travels from Tassie to Perth and Perth to Tassie and the fact it's from the ABC Studios, how cool.

(Must find out if that 6 channel Holton made it or not to Perth, if not wouldn't be far away now)

Nice TT here for sale would make someone very happy they don't need to buy belts ever again ! King of the Quartz Lockers.
