Guest Jonboi
Very nice - B&W have always made very nice drivers and speakers generally. Wish they would make some fully active versions like Dynaudio though... Cheers

audio_file
The carbon tweeters were used (in an earlier form) on the PM1, sounded good to me. My main issue with B&W floorstanders using the FST mid range is that the woofers look smaller than the mid range which I just can't handle. They solved the issue with the new 800 series by making a smaller version of the mid range, but I see the 700 series still has the issue.
blazer78
Lots of trickle down tech from the 800 series! can't wait to give them a demo. Wondering if tweeter on top makes a significant difference (to justify the price premium )
Guest Sime
I’m actuallly really glad these are coming out. My center channel and rears are gen 1 CM series and now I can replace them with new speakers that are “closely” related to my 805d3’s.
