Samsung Tv Wall Brackets – Has To Be A Sensible Deal

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a 81 cm Samsung TV just under 4 y.o. and recently bought a new much larger TV.

So I will put the Samsung in the bedroom. Because of the room layout, I want (Pivotelli like) to mount the TV on an arm, that pivots or can swing from side to side

Selby Acoustics (mail order) sell pivoting arms for $30 - including postage. But the Samsung’s mounting holes aren’t in that layout.

I called JB Hifi, who can sell one – for $250!! (their price for just a simple fixed bracket is $100)

My brand new TV (Aldi, HD 46 inch cm, works fine) cost only $550.

Does anyone know a supplier who might sell a pivoting arm, for a price like Selby, with Samsung’s layout?

Do I have to shop in HK or the US?

Thanks

It depends on what quality you want. The JB brackets are good quality. The brackets are reasonably heavy, so one sourced from overseas may be expensive to ship to Australia.

Am surprised that a Selby mount cannot cope with a Samsung TV. Did you look at some of their other more expensive mounts (definitely less $ than JB)? I have 2 of them (on Pana TVs) and they are designed to be flexible for mounting many TVs and include different sized screws, washers.

Also contact Selby to discuss your requirements and ask for their suggestions.

You don't tell us what model you have.

I agree with Snoopy that you're possibly overlooking options.what are the screw dimensions at the rear of the TV?

75mm x 75mm, 100m x 100m, or 200mm x 100mm ?
