mello yello 5,065
when i go into "my attachments" they all show up as a list, at the top it says (basically the same thing it said on version 3 when attempting an upload from within the post) You have used 14.4 MB of your 500 kB attachment limit. there is no option to delete any of them except one as a new member, looks like you have a 500kb allowance, keep uploading and see if you hit your limit nice pizza btw, did make it yourself ? ...looks very lean on kilobyte calories Edited July 24, 2016 by mello yello
mello yello 5,065
aha!!!! now it works that has just been added to my attachments quota and my quota has been increased You have used 14.7 MB of your 19.5 MB attachment limit. wouldnt mind being able to delete some old ones though one of them has a delete icon, only one and it says No locations to display. The content may not have been saved yet or may have been deleted. ?? Edited July 24, 2016 by mello yello
Scorchie™ 1
Deletion is blocked by design. If you want it deleted, you need to delete the source of that file - usually, a post or a link you have placed referencing it.
mello yello 5,065
thats going to be hard because old posts are uneditable now hang on aha! ok i deleted that pic i just uploaded and its gone from my attachments list and my quota has been restored You have used 14.4 MB of your 19.5 MB attachment limit. Snoopy8 3,335
2 minor issues: Noticed that current and archived topics are all visible. Is there a way to denote which topics are current, which ones archived? The only way I knows is to open the topic. Not personally worried about it, but perhaps it indicates problems with posts: my total post count was a 100 higher in the previous version.

pgdownload 1
Some feedback on the main page look and feel. It might just be the format shift but its really suffering from more is less IMO. I'm in condensed view. The topic title is great. Underneath that is the Tags (what's up with the multi colours?). I'm not sure they're needed here. Does anyone scan down the pages of topics looking for "4K" in a tag and click to see what its about? The tags are user created so there's no standard ones. IMO tags are great to help searches but anyone willing to take the time to add them to a thread will have obviously put some thought into the thread title? They should be hidden. The 'Toms post has been commented on by Philip' provides the same info as the old forum but you have to work hard to read whole sentences and parse it. The old approach of two columns (Post Creator and Last Commented By) was clear and straight forward. I'm guessing though that with things like RSS feeds the sentence format provides more flexibility? I don't expect these things to change but I wanted to add my 2c 0.02 Peter Gillespie
JSmith 1,949
Yeah I was at 7200 something last week... seems to have dropped back to 5000, odd. Scorch, I recall not long before OT was closed (2 years now?) post counts for OT were stopped, everything before that was still counted. Not sure about this 5 year figure you speak of... Not that it matters a great deal... but a post is a post wherever it may be made. JSmith

Snoopy8 3,335
Been looking at Activities. In "Content I Started", showed only 5 topics, and I am pretty certain I have started more! 2 of the topics have truncated posts: Good Sacd, Dvd-A And Blu Ray Audio References started 11 Apr 15, first post 9 Sep 15 Star Wars: Watching Sequence started 23 Oct 15, first post 6 Dec 15, poll results still there but no ability to change vote (as per old version). Worked out how to create and save an activity stream to show unread posts since last visit, but I accidentally created 2. How do I delete 1 of them?
Ron12 4
Hi. I found that not all forums that I used to follow were showing up as being followed, but worse still, in order to add them back, I had to visit numerous forum pages and configure notifications for each of them separately. Is there a quicker and easier way that I have missed? For example, in order to receive notifications for all the Geographical Viewers Forums, I'd have to visit the Geographic Viewers Forums page, then each of the 6 regional pages, then each of the 15 subregional pages, and set notifications for each, for a total of 22 page visits and 15 notification settings. Then there are the other forums. In the previous version of the website, you could do all that on one page, just choose that one and that one and that one and not that one etc. and that was it.
