I red specs on other models. it said you need to instal firmware update, after you can play video on the USB, is there a firmware update for this one ? what would happen if I install a firmware for a different model of Bush set top box ? Doubt it mate, not many companies are keen to give you extra functionality unless you buy their new product... particularly small rebadge companies such as Bush. If you install a different firmware it will either not install at all, or if it does possibly brick your STB... Any luck with your others posts on Whirlpool and computing.net ?
