applemelvis
Guys, thanks for the offer, Allow me to gather more inquiries before making a final decision. Essentially, I'm more interested with a center speaker in black, aesthetically or well maintained to blend well with the furniture items. thanks ! Snoopy8
As well as blending in with the furniture, the center speaker should also blend in acoustically with your front speakers. Ideally, get the same brand and model. Otherwise, test the center speaker with your front speakers to ensure that they sound about the same. Snoopy8
mate, you're right too. Mine is the pair of the usher mini monitor Why not get the matching Usher center speaker ? It should match sound wise and visually.Google "timbre matching center channel" for many discussions on matching the center speaker with the front speakers. While many people suggest doing this with the same brand of speakers, there are others who disagree. (I suspect this forum will have its share of people who will argue for/against this). At the end of the day, let your ears decide whether a different branded center is ok for your setup.
Mickp10
I am ordering today an Ascension center speaker from Adelaide Speakers, I am looking at the TRIO CENTRE 453SR. Last year I purchased the Ascension 1240ETL Sub-woofer and been very happy with the build and sound quality.
