Sgr Mt3fsl - In Production

Recommended Posts

That is obviously part of the issue but is not what I refere to as noise floor

For me the noise floor encompasses the whole system including noises from outside the room. It is the base noise at the listening chair

Spearmint is correct. When one talks about noise floor it refers to the lowest sound levels for a given item.

E.g. Spearmint is talking about the acoustic noise floor of the room / system which includes anything that adds sound to the room. I was referring the loudspeakers noise floor. You have to be extremely close to my speakers (active) to hear it's self noise :)

didnt listen to them mate, nor did i take a camera with me.

Only briefly heard the big bad boys, but too much noise in the room to really give any indication

Like above the room was full of people and didn't get a good opportunity sadly.

Yeah, that was my fear. Even if you do get a good chance to hear them there is no guarantee that the music played will be to your liking. O well, its a great opportunity none the less.

I thought the SGR setup was great, save the large crowds obviously. It was nice to see the big fellas up and running and I thought the white mt3's looked great. White is the new black. As far as listening to what you want, Stuart was very accomodating, let me listen to what I wanted and control the volume etc. I was glad to see the Musickube up and running, look forward to it being in production.

The only trouble with white is, the fashion will not last IMHO

Black will always be in (has been for ever :)

Was the music cube up and running?

Yeah, maybe the white fad will pass, but still look good..

Musickube wasn't running in the morning but later on in the afternoon they had it up and working. Stuart was showing me the interface etc but did't get to actually use it as the Illuminators were playing. There were two, a black and a silver, but definitely prefer the black.
