Samsung Free 3d Bluray Player And Glasses Offer

Recommended Posts

Has anyone as yet got their original purchase receipt back from Samsung?

Unlike the recent Pana promo (original receipt sent with promo) Samsung said they will be sending the receipts to us later in a separate posting.

Would it be better to ask who hasn't got it and how long it's been?

In my case: 12th July (got the player) to today - 23 days, no receipt. (But I'll give them 6ish more weeks!)

(Edit: Changed June to July.)

Guest Voltes5

thanks for those setting - I might give them a go.

On the TV's 3D menu, under 3D Auto View, there's 3D Optimisation which can be changed from -1, 0 and 1. Just wondering what people have it set on?

Good question. I got mine from CNET and I am pretty happy with the picture.

Edit: Just read your question again and I don't think this is what you were asking for, I'll leave it here anyway.

Your settings may vary depending on source, room conditions, and personal preference. Check out the Picture settings and calibration FAQ for more information.

It might have been covered, but couldn't find it. Can someone tell me if the Samsung BDP C6900 comes with an HDMI cable in the box?

Unfortunately, no.

Do not spend $200 plus on Monster cables from the usual suspects. Spending $20-$30 from the sponsor at top of page will yield the same results.

Cheers

Got mine today, web status still says downloaded though, and no emails have been received to indicate dispatch.

+1....got a note under my front door today saying the postman tried to deliver a package today....so will go to the post office in the morning to see what it is....no change in status on their tracking site

  • 2 weeks later...
The eagle has landed here also. Yay :D

So it's 4 weeks tomorrow since I received my Bonus Pack. Still have not received my original receipt.

Did anyone out there who received their pack around the same time ever get their original receipt back yet?

What about others, how long did you have to wait?

Has anyone received their original receipt back yet? It seems to be taking quite a long time.

Andys.

I also looked into this recently and contacted Samsung. Their reply to me was :

"Hi,

There have been some delays in the dispatch of the receipts. Please expect to receive your receipt near the middle of September. We apologise for the delay.

Regards,

Samsung"

more waiting. <_<

Unless you're using Audio Return you don't need a 1.4 cable. A high speed 1.3 is fine for 3D.

Andys.

Thanks Andys, spent some time over the weekend hooking it all up, using the HDMI 1.3 high speed that I bought from Catch of the day really cheap (someone here recommended it). Works beautifully. Looks just like the demo i saw in the store.

No receipt yet either.
