ugoagogo 0
In the next couple of weeks the four majors are progressively starting their sales promotions up to christmas. Panasonics is different but the rest have been there done that. I can't see anyone waiting until after christmas to buy a tv now.
kulfi 0
Sony's 3-year warranty promotion goes on till Dec 31 2009. Boxing day looks like a safer bet for those who would want one of their TVs.
aequitas 0
so what are the promos? im thinking about buying a 50x10a soon, but there is no rush and im happy to wait for a better price. (READ: not for new tech, im not interested in waiting for the next best thing. i want a 50" tv for around $1500, that is the only criteria, money being the main factor.) would love to have something like a xbox360 ot ps3, but both would be a bonus and not really a key factor. (have an original xbox as a media center atm.)

diesel 1
It's typical for these pre Xmas bundles to appear to try and stimulate the sales, but they should be generous given the A$ is back in the 90's!

kulfi 0
i just left a deposit, i havent actually picked up the TV yet Fantastic. Ask the store to switch the receipt and pick-up date to Oct 20th and you'll be laughing.
kulfi 0
Any more info on the panasonic promo would be massive helpful. Hold your horses for a couple of weeks. The RRP is being slashed (for several TVs) so it's a double boost for those who haven't purchased until now.
Broovwa 0
So i'm in a bit of a limbo state. I have ordered a Sony 32" V5500 in to a shop and agreed on a good price, but i have not paid anything on it yet, so i have the opportunity to wait until the 22nd of October to see what the Sony promotion is. But, what is the liklihood of the promotion including the 32" V5500?? These promotions generally only affect the higher-end models and bigger sizes right? Cheers, Brad. If I remember correctly, the 32" V4000 was included in the free PS3 promo. At the moment, TV prices are falling as the high AUD kicks in. More promos mean more competition and better prices for all. Is there any downside to waiting a couple of weeks ? None that I can think of.

Any word here and which stores will have the deals - the usual suspects ?
