tter2
You're gonna wish you'd picked up anything other than X-Files. Meh, I love the X-Files - this movie was just like a long episode, which, naturally, I totally enjoyed! Each to their own.

jutta
Anyone seen this movie? Is it any good? I'm curious to see how it is in 3D. The 3D effect is quite reasonable but the picture suffers from a severly washed out colour. Looks fine in the conventional 2D print which is also included on the disc. My US copy is a bare bones DD audio track however. Not sure about this UK one.

I was also keen to pickup the 3D version just out of curiosity. Cheers, youngstar

No where near as good as the original, but parts of it are enjoyable. It gets a little annoying when you see the shots that are just in there for the 3D experience, hey but you get 2 pairs of them groovy glasses

I thought they had improved on that where you can use certain clear style glasses for better image perception. Of course I may be talking total bull. My Bloody Valentine is coming also in 3D... There is a new system that uses photo-electric polarizing clear lenses - IIRC it's available already for videogame playing in the high end PC market (ie: works best with a "small screen" at a close distance) .... the intention was/is to eventually launch if for more widespread consumer applications. jutta
I still haven't watched the Rambo Trilogy iwas sucked intobuying because of this thread.Has anyone watched it? Is it any good? I actually watched the first two last weekend. Rambo: First Blood Not what I remembered. I was expecting him off somewhere in SE Asia finding POW's (that was number two) Didn't remember it at all from my school days and will say that I was mildly surprised. Story was OK. Audio rather, well........80's. Explosions didn't really sound like explosions etc PQ was reasonable for a 20ish yr old print Stallone was not as bad an actor here as i was expecting. I thought Richard Crenna's performance was very odd (alright, terrible) The rest, well OK for back then. Rambo II - Average. Yet to watch III Will state I was never a fan of the trilogy. Still chasing Rambo (USA release with 7.1 audio) P.S. Body count in Rambo 1st Blood is just 1 (I think)
Guest
P.S. Body count in Rambo 1st Blood is just 1 (I think) I guess that's why it was called 1st blood

Hi, it's not the red and blue glasses like for Spy Kids 3, it is green and magenta. I bought my copy from the UK and it only came with 2 sets (thinking that I could use the old SK3 ones) and ended up purchasing a batch of 5 more from a specialty shop.
