Hi Stooge

I sent u a private message. I called the contact up, but he is telling me its BDX, not FDX, he said FDX would be much more because its 100hz, well I cant find a BDX model and I cant see where it says FDX is 100hz. So some clarification is needed, hes getting me a price to deliver to outside Melb, so any outer NSW people might like to know also, will keep u posted.

thanks

Justin

I asked for model and he gave me PS50P91BDX, then I said I wanted the FDX and he was saying how that one is a lot more. I will ask him again when he calls back with the delivery charge, he must have been thinking about the lcds.

the BDX model reference is only applicable to LCDs!!! (afaik) also, i believe the 100hz thing is also an LCD thing (M8 = 50hz, F8 = 100hz).

in plasmas, the only models are the C9, Q9, and P9.

the C9 and Q9 have a HDX model number, while the P9 has the FDX model number.

check the samsung website ;)

not sure what the guys is on about?

but my receipt definitely says FDX.

i'll give him a call to confirm though.

sit tight guys :)

cheers

Sorry Stooge,

This maybe a a very silly question however im unable to PM you to get the details. It says

"Board Message

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information."

"The error returned was:

You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board"

Tried looking at the help files nothing there can anyone help.

Cheers

Gabriel

Hi Stooge

I hope he sends the right one, he seemed a bit clueless to be honest. But I will ask him again when he calls back with the delivery cost.

I knew all of that info about the numbers mate, and thats why I wasnt sure what he meant. I was just repeating the number that he stated on the phone. Maybe he had a bad morning or something? I'll ask him again later,

cheers

Justin

Hey Stooge,

I just went out and purchased the set today from my local JB Hi-Fi.

I got the package as you did, but for $3050 which was good enough considering its a local store and getting delivered tomorrow.

You can take my name off the list.

But thanks for bringing to light the prices you obtained.

Thanks.

After pulling out of the Panasonic group buy after it closed pissing off A LOT of people - nice one retard.

May 1000 sweaty Wii remotes strike your new plasma dead.

agree, that wasn't cool.

but unfortunately stuff like this happens.

i'm just glad that my "GB" was not dependent on any number of panels being sold!

i don't think i would have gone ahead with it if i had to guarantee a certain number of panels, as people will almost always drop out, or find a better deal.

they (GB's) take alot of work, even my semi-GB has taken alot of my time. can't imagine how much time and effort went into the Pana and Kuro GB's!!!

cheers
