Pioneer Pdp-lx508a Best Price

Recommended Posts

I seamed to nail it first go.

And once I saw how many hours, I didnt have any reason to go back in.

Aparently I have clocked up just over 100 hours in two weeks use. (8 hours a day)

Either I need to get out more or they may do a few hours in the factory?

If anyone gets a new one they should check.

I may have had a couple of days at home over the break where the tv could have be on at 9am and off at midnight which would make sense.

can you tune in the channels with a universal remote or do you need the original remote?

A programmed Harmony will do everythng (and more) that OE remote can do.

Went past Myer Miranda (Sydney) today and they still had floor stock of an lx508 & lx608 and it will probably remain that way until Myer get their head out of the

sand, and stop asking stupid prices.

lx508 : $4299

lx608 : $7499

Buy the Harmony then chuck all your other remotes in a draw, I don't even know where my other remotes are.

the 785 and H one are very popular.

stacks on eBay

I thought 4200 was a pretty good price!.... as much as I like the 509 its going to be expensive for a while I think!

Don't buy a harmony unless your prepared to leave it on standby 24/7.

Why is that?

I'm not sure if Cable Runner has followed the thread about the member who has no remote supplied with his ex-display 508. I don't know of any remote that could wake a panel from a full power off so why a Harmony would be at any disadvantage is beyond me. Perhaps you might expand on your statement CR?

I think he means leaving the remote on charge 24/7

I have a harmony 1000i.

It wont last half a day without being in the cradle.

My old sony brick remote would last maybe two years on the same 4xAA batteries and basically does the same thing.

I really regret getting the harmony.

My Harmony 785 lasts all day without the cradle. It's 18 months old on original batteries. Just cradle it every night.

Best thing since sliced bread.

seriously.... "tell him he is dreamin' "

$2500??? I don't think anyone would ever sell a 1080p pioneer 508 for that price.... $3800 - $4200 depending on where you are in oz....

and I doubt there are any new ones AT ALL left in australia????

then again you could be just joking!

Your Mission , should be to actually find one , even floor stock , for SALE , PERIOD.

Sorry to burst the bubble on this one.

Once JB ran out of Stock all the other retailers stopped negotiating and even increased their prices.

Good old supply and demand stuff, which is why they are quoting $3800+ for floor stock and $4200 for the last few remaining units available, if you have time to do a ring around , you'll know what I mean.
