taf_kid
Hi, does anyone know what the cheapest price I can get in Sydney for the Panasonic 42' 70A plasma? I have seen $1999 in Bing Lee.
wook
it seems the flavour of the month now is tvs with full 1080p. Is there much of a difference between these and the regular lcds that are now relatively cheap? and what difference is the 100hz ones?I'm after a 32inch LCD with HD tuner to replace my Panasonic 66cm widescreen 100hz regular (crt) tv. Can get a regular one for just over 1000 i think but am curious as to what the 1080p tvs are like.

fast700c
just bought the Samsung P91 50" for $2990giddy up Nice work, I bought one today as well. I picked up mine for $3000 with an extra 1 year warranty (3 years total) and delivery. Price on docket for plasma was $2776 a mark down of $1226. I'm happy with that. Interestingly, I went to HN before going to Myer. I told them the best price I'd had was $3050. The salesman went away spoke with his manager then came back and almost accused me of lying. He said that they can't even buy the screen for that much so didn't see how someone was going to sell it to me for that much. I felt like taking my receipt back and sugesting that I become his new Samsung wholesaler. Now just waiting for delivery tomorrow. Bensl, how long did you spend comparing the Sammy to Pana and what swung it for you. I think they will both go for the same price.

Not according to those who bought one, lots of problems on service and returns. stephen247
Reading a HN catalogue this morning and noticed the Panasonic 32" LCD (I'm pretty sure its the TX-32LXD700A) for $1349. For the 100MHz, that's seems a great price... Cheers, S.
