What has been the best BD title you seen?

For me..

300 - Great movie PQ could had been bit better though know of the intention of it being sepian colors...

HellBoy - Not as good story as 300 but excellent PQ! :)

For me.

PQ would be Pirates 1 and 2

Story would be Black Hawk Down

Funny (made me laugh) would be Kung Fu Hustle

Animation : Happy Feet

Another one for Apocalypto. Stunning imagery. Really surprised me how good it was.

Agree on Apocalypto.

Also Casino Royale. Awesome PQ.

Wow, how did I forget Casino Royale :o ?

Also Crank is at the top of the list as well.

I would rate Crank, Apocolypto and Casino Royale as the top 3 non animated BDs that I own.

to be honest I haven't seen anything that makes me go WOW!!!!! Don't get me wrong, blu-ray looks fantastic, it just doesn't have anything truly amazing.

You have to see Crank, Chicken Little or Open Season then. They truly are spectacular PQ

maybe I havent watched enough titles either, but same here, havent seen enough to make me go Wow !

that said apocolypto was very good pq and the lossless audio on it excellet too. nto my favourite BD thoughas a movie ! hehe

pearl harbour was very good too for both the loslless audio and the very pq for the bulk of the movie.

The opening scene looks intentionally dark and grainy.

The rest of the movie is superb.

maybe the HDMI cable you are using is too long and is degrading the image :P
