momaw
I haven't even heard of them. You are soooooo lucky then. If only their existence could be ripped from my mind. Fortunately I was sane enough not to see them.

Foggy
I think this list demonstrates one point that is often missed; There is a definite appetite for any new HiDef content, how else could you explain something as crappy as Norbit being in the top 10. ajm1503559545
Apologies if this is a dumb question but what exactly do those sale numbers represent? Are they units sold x 10, 100 or 1000? 100 isn't many discs is it?
AndrewW
Apologies if this is a dumb question but what exactly do those sale numbers represent? Are they units sold x 10, 100 or 1000? 100 isn't many discs is it? Considering the first title is exactly 100, I'm guessing it's some sort of relative percentage ... The_Preacher1973
Wow, I'm quite surprised the Matrix isn't up there being a HD-DVD exclusive atm.... That's probably because they released two versions of it thus splitting the sales.

momaw
Thanks Preach Don't think Warners would be unhappy and interesting to see Fifth Element figures given they are going to replace it Definately not unhappy considering it is actually the number one title in term of revenue. The_Preacher1973
And 7 out of the first 11 sales spots, also would've thought BHD would've had bigger sales Yep. And their top two sellers are available on both formats. I imagine Batman Begins will shoot up the rankings once they release it for Blu Ray as well. The big question will be, if they release it as THD, how will they deal with the sales figures?
AndrewW
The big question will be, if they release it as THD, how will they deal with the sales figures? Good point. I wonder how do they count the HD DVD/DVD combos right now ? Andrew.

Highjinx
HD Forecast: Forecast "According to Digital Entertainment Group research, there are currently about 300,000 HD DVD players in the U.S. market, split in half between set-top boxes and Xbox 360s. There are 1.5 million Blu-ray players, with only 100,000 set-top boxes being counted among those. The rest are PlayStation 3s." Neilsen Pie Charts - US Anyone have HD sales figures for other markets?
