There is no such thing as a VGA to composite cable, or VGA to component cable. They are different video processing standards which require conversion first, before any adaptor cable can be used. Fusion1503560145 Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 Depending upon what you are trying to do, there are D_sub to component (or RGB) cables as pointed out above. Clearly, you need a componenet signal being put out the d-sub connection. But as Col points out, if you have an rgbhv signal from the d-sub connector, it needs to be converted to component before connecting it to a component input.
