Thanx in advance [/b] not clear to me what your asking coru. just about all brand receivers have pre-amps built in with pre-outs to use with external amps. unless your asking asking what brands make av pre-pros which are a bit mroe limited
coruphius
are the Av pre-pros receivers without integrated amps, just the processor with pre outs? if thats the case, thats what ill be looking for. thankyou in advance
Keith_W
I think Meridian, Classe, Cary, Halcro, Rotel, and Arcam all have processor only receivers with no power amp. However these are all on the costly side (especially the Halcro!). Some may be available secondhand, but will not have HDMI. What is your budget? Guest alebonau
if buying new think the cheapest pre-pro is the nad 163 @ $1,499. no amps on board, no frills bells, whistles or flashy lights.
